Privacy notice

How VVSM Group processes personal data in connection with this website, inquiries and candidate submissions.

This privacy notice explains how VVSM Group ("VVSM", "we") processes personal data. It is based on the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies — for example to individuals in the European Union — the corresponding GDPR rights apply as well.

1. Controller and contact

The controller responsible for data processing is [Registered company name], [Registered address]. For any data-protection question or request, contact recruitment@vvsmgroup.com.

2. Data we process

Visiting this website

When you visit this website, the hosting server automatically records technical data in server log files: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referring page, browser and operating system. This data is used only to operate the website securely and to detect misuse. It is not combined with other data sources.

Employer and contact inquiries

When you use a form on this website, we process the information you provide — such as name, company, position, email address, phone number, details of the position and your message — in order to answer your inquiry and, where applicable, to prepare and carry out a recruitment or consulting mandate. Form submissions are transmitted by email to our Microsoft 365 mailbox. To protect the forms against abuse, your IP address is processed briefly in pseudonymised form to limit repeated submissions.

Candidate submissions

If you send your profile to careers@vvsmgroup.com, we process the information and documents you provide — for example CV, certificates, skills, salary expectations, mobility, availability and career goals — in order to assess your profile, contact you about suitable opportunities and, with your explicit consent for each specific role, introduce you to potential employers. Please do not send sensitive personal data (such as health information or identity documents) unless we specifically request it.

3. Purposes and legal basis

We process personal data to answer inquiries, to provide recruitment, search and consulting services, to manage our business relationships, and to operate and secure this website. Processing is based on the performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps, our legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations and, where required, your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future.

4. Recipients and service providers

  • Website hosting: Namecheap, Inc. (Stellar shared hosting); server location: [Server location — confirm with Namecheap].
  • Email and document storage: Microsoft 365 (Microsoft Corporation and its affiliates).
  • Prospective employers: candidate information is shared only with your explicit consent for a specific position.

We do not sell personal data.

5. Disclosure abroad

Some service providers may process data outside Switzerland, including in the European Union and the United States. Where data is transferred to a country without an adequate level of data protection as recognised by the Swiss Federal Council, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the standard contractual clauses recognised by the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or on a certification under the Swiss-US Data Privacy Framework where available.

6. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law. Unsuccessful inquiries are deleted after a reasonable period. Candidate profiles are kept for up to [retention period, e.g. 24 months] after the last contact unless you ask us to delete them earlier. Server log files are retained by the hosting provider for a limited period.

7. Your rights

Subject to the applicable law, you have the right to request access to your personal data, rectification of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, and to object to processing. You may also request the release of data you provided in a common electronic format. To exercise these rights, contact recruitment@vvsmgroup.com. You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, where the GDPR applies, with a competent EU supervisory authority.

8. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies for analytics or advertising and does not load third-party tracking tools or fonts. See the cookie information for details.

9. Security

This website is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections. We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss and unauthorised access. Email is not a fully secure channel; please consider this when sending documents.

10. Changes

We may update this notice. The version published on this website applies.
